Sharing what you have learned with others is a path to good in shaa’Allaah
1. “The best of you are those who learn the Qur’an and teach it.”
Sahih al‑Bukhari (5027)
This is one of the most explicit proofs:
– Learning is good
– Teaching what you learned is even better
– The Prophet ﷺ ties virtue to sharing knowledge, not merely acquiring it.
🌿 2. “Whoever calls others to guidance will have a reward like those who follow it.”
Sahih Muslim (2674)
This hadith is a foundational proof that teaching beneficial knowledge is rewarded continuously.
– If you teach someone something beneficial
– And they act on it
– You receive the same reward, without their reward decreasing
– And this continues for everyone who learns it through them
This is the clearest evidence that knowledge must be shared, not hidden.
