An introduction to the some of the books and some of the audios on the topic of correct beliefs (Aqeedah) in Islam in shaa’Allaah
Bismillah. Assalaamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakaatuh There are many of our beloved salafi scholars and teachers in Islam that have given or are still giving lessons about the Correct Creed (Aqeedah), the Correct Beliefs that a Muslim should know and adhere to. Some of the scholars calling to the truth have been Shaykh Salih al-Fawzan (hafidhullah) with the Guide to Sound Creed, Shaykh ‘Abdus-Salaam Ibn Burjis (rahimahullah) with The Correct Creed, **Dr. Saleh as-Saleh (rahimahullah) teaching the Correct Creed by Shaykh bin Burjis, Shaykh Abdul-Azeez bin Baaz with The Correct Islaamic Aqeedah & that which Opposes it, and many others. Then we have our beloved Shaykh Muhammad bin Salih al-Uthaymeen (rahimahullah) explaining Al-Aqidah al-Wasittiyyah, and our esteemed Ustadh **Moosaa Richardson (hafidhullah) with a whopping ‘125 recorded lessons’ on this topic alone with the explanation from Shaykh ‘Ubayd al-Jaabiree (rahimahullah), and The Islamic Creed for Children translated by our beloved teacher Raha Batts (hafidhullah). There are so many, you can reference to learn from. One of the best audio series on CD is from **Abu Uwais (rahimahullah) from this exact text of al-Aqidah al-Wasittiyyah beginning in Rajab 1424 AH/2003 originally written from Shaykh Ibn Taymiyyah (rahimahullah). No matter which of these texts or audios you choose to begin with you can gain much benefit by Allah’s mercy. The correct path can be learned and implemented just from reading and listening from these few topics about the Correct Creed in shaa’Allaah. Then attending the live lessons from the callers of truth, those who follow the Qur’an, the Sunnah, and the path of the Companions (radiAllahu anhum), and those who followed the believers exactly. May Allah bless me, you, and all of them (the rightly guided believers) who have gone before us and may Allah guide me, you, and all of us to the straight path, allowing us to stand firm and be upright upon this beautiful religion of Islam, the salafi dawah.
