🌟 Digital Literacy and Holographic Learning in a Faith-Centered Classroom
In a recent interview with Al Arabiyyah News the  Kuwaiti Minister Mai Al-Baghli emphasized the urgent need for digital literacy across all age groups. As technology rapidly evolves, especially with the rise of artificial intelligence and holographic tools, Arab societies are called to adapt while preserving their linguistic and cultural identity.
🧠 What Is Digital Literacy?
Digital literacy means being able to use modern technology—like smartphones, computers, and online tools—safely and effectively. It includes:
Navigating websites and apps
Understanding online safety
Using digital tools for learning and communication
🖥️ What Are Holographic Screens?
Holographic screens project 3D images that appear to float in space. They allow students to interact with lessons in a more immersive way—like exploring human anatomy or historical events from multiple angles. These tools are already used in:
Education
Medical training
Entertainment
🏫 Faith-Centered Integration
In a faith-centered classroom, technology becomes a tool of amanah (trust) and niyyah (intention). We teach students:
Allah gave us minds to build and benefit others
Technology should serve truth, not distract from it
Learning is an act of worship when done with sincerity
📚 Classroom Ideas
Create a mini-poster titled “Technology & Trust – التقنية والأمانة”
Use coloring sheets showing students learning with floating screens
Discuss the verse: “He taught man what he knew not” (Al-‘Alaq 96:5)
💡 Reflection Prompt
Ask students: “How can we use technology to help others and remember Allah?”
This approach helps students connect current events with timeless values, building both digital readiness and spiritual grounding.

He taught man—(Ādam) (or: each person)—that which he knew not (of the names of all things) (or: through the faculties of hearing, seeing and reflecting).

عَلَّمَ ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ مَا لَمْ يَعْلَمْ

May Allah increase us all in beneficial knowledge allahumma aameen
