The Believer Never Loses Hope
الْحَمْدُ لِله الَّذِي وَهَبَ لِي عَلَى الْكِبَرِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ وَإِسْحَاقَ ۚ إِنَّ رَبِّي لَسَمِيعُ الدُّعَاءِ
“All praises be to Allāh, Who (despite my old age) has bestowed upon me Ismā’eel and Is-hāq. Indeed, my Lord is the All-Hearer of supplications.” [Qur’ān 14:39]
‘Abdullāh ibn ‘Abbās رضي الله عنهما mentioned,
“Ismā’eel was born to Ibrāheem when he was ninety-nine years old and Is-hāq was born to him when he was one hundred and twelve years old.”
