Bismillah Assalaamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakaatuh alhamdulillah Yaa Muslimaat
Let’s continue once again to embark upon the path of seeking knowledge may Allah increase me and you in knowledge allahumma aameen
In today’s reading ๐ we see the full description of the heritage and lineage of our beloved messenger (sallaAllahu alaihi wa salaam) from the written text and explanation of Shaykh Abdul-Ghani al-Maqdisi (rahimahullah) pg. 21
Digging in a little further from the book The Prophet and His Ten Companions Who Were Promised Paradise also written by Shaykh Abdul-Ghani al-Maqdisi (rahimahullah), but explained by Shaykh Muhammad bin Abdul-Wahhab al-Aqil (rahimahullah) on pgs. 12 -18 we find the following statement, ” We shall suffice with the first part of his lineage. ” which is upto Adnan, from the sons of Ismail (alaihi salaam), the son of Ibrahim (alaihi salaam). His relationship to Adnan is affirmed. Alhamdulillah.
I encourage students, participants, and visitors to continue by reading the selection in shaa’Allaah ta’ala
Finally, we have from Ibn Kathir the book Early Days (The Beginning of Creation and the Early Prophet Adam to Yoonus) the first book in the series of al-Bidayah wan-Nihayah.
In the first chapter section 2. Regarding what has been said concerning the description of the creation of the Throne and the Kursi pgs. 39 – 45.
We are giving many examples of the affirmation of Allah’s Throne in the Qur’an.
Surah al-Ghafir 40:15
Allah says, “Owner of high ranks and degrees, the Owner of the Throne. “
And the ayah about the Kursi (the footstool) of Allah
Allah (subhanahu wa ta’ala) says, “His Kursi extends over the heavens and the earth, and he feels no fatigue in guarding and preserving them. And He is the Most High, the Most Great.”
Wa’alaykumus salaam wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakaatuh
From Surah al-Baqarah 2:255
I urge you to read each of these selections before next session in shaa’Allaah,ย write โ๏ธ three or more benefits that you can share among yourselves and with others that may benefit thereafter bi’ithnillah.
